12th June - 2nd July on Lindisfarne Heugh, Holy Island

We will be re-excavating and extending the areas opened in 2016, as well as investigating new sites in the vicinity. Smaller excavations may also occur on St Cuthbert’s Island, at The Tar Pots in the harbour and on part of Osborne’s Fort enclosure walls.
